Before the treatment takes place, you first talk to the doctor. This intake is completely without obligation. Together with the doctor you will go through your wishes and the possibilities. The doctor also tells you what you can expect from the treatment. It is also possible to schedule an intake separately from the treatment.
Before the Treatment
It is important to be present 15 minutes in advance, so that there is enough space for the non-binding intake and administrative handling. An anesthetic in advance is not necessary, the treatment is usually not experienced as painful.
The Treatment
After the intake and the administrative treatment, you can proceed directly to the treatment room. The doctor will disinfect your forehead and mark the puncture points. He then injects the botox with the help of small injections. The result of the treatment can be seen after 3 to 4 days. After 2 weeks, the effect of the botox is optimal. The dynamic wrinkles soften or even disappear altogether. Usually the treatment is repeated after 3 months. However, Botox needs a build-up time. The more often you get treated, the longer the result lasts.
After the Treatment
You may have a slight swelling or some bruising after the treatment, but you usually don't see any of it. Furthermore, it is important to follow the doctor's instructions carefully. For example, you may not lie down for the first 2 hours and it is also not wise to exercise.
Control, after-treatment and re-treatment
You can come for a check-up 2 to 3 weeks after the treatment. We then evaluate whether the treatment is working properly. We can then also schedule the re-treatment. If there is still a lot of muscle activity, we will inject extra botox. You do not have to pay extra for this. If after the extra injection it appears that the muscles can still move, we will not continue the botox treatment. Your body does not respond well to botox.

Can I suffer from the 'Spock' effect or raised eyebrows?
Some people are indeed sensitive to this. Fortunately, this is easy to solve with a small prick above the eyebrow.
What should I not do after the treatment?
Up to 48 hours after the treatment, it is better not to exercise. Furthermore, we do not recommend:
- Up to 2 days after the treatment to go to the sauna;
- To lie under the sunbed within 14 days;
- Use blood-thinning medication;
- Up to 2 weeks after the treatment to go to the beauty salon.
