The regenerative ability of your own blood plasma
With PRP, plasma is filtered from your own blood and this is injected back into your skin. The treatment is therefore also called 'Vampire facelift' or 'Dracula facelift'. Procedure of the Treatment
The procedure of the treatment consists of personal advice, the administration, collection of a small amount of blood, treatment, planning the next treatments and instructions from the doctor.
Personal Advice
For the treatment you will receive personal advice during a non-binding intake of 10 minutes. The doctor listens to your wishes and discusses the possibilities with you. This is followed by a few more administrative procedures. You can also schedule a no-obligation intake without any treatment.
Before the Treatment
For the PRP treatment we ask you to be present 15 minutes in advance, because we will apply anesthetic cream if desired. Before the treatment, the doctor takes a small amount of blood.This blood is then centrifuged for five minutes. Centrifugation creates filtered plasma that our doctor will then work with. This plasma consists of a high concentration of platelets, including the active growth factors.
The Treatment
During the treatment, the doctor injects the platelets together with the plasma back superficially into the skin. He does this with a thin needle. The treatment takes about 10 minutes.
For optimal results in the hair treatment, we recommend 3 to 6 treatments in the first year. After 1 treatment you will already see results, but after 3 months this result is maximum. You can then consider a second package of 3 treatments, if the first 3 treatments have given good results. There are about 5 weeks between treatments. For a consistent result, it is wise to visit every 6 months for the second year and then 1 time a year.
With the facial treatment we recommend 3 treatments in the first year. After 1 treatment the effect can already be visible, but after 3 treatments the effect is maximum. There are about 5 weeks between these treatments. In order to maintain the result, it is important to visit 1 time per year in the following years.
After the Treatment
It is important that after treatment you strictly follow the doctor's instructions. You may experience redness, bruising and swelling on the first day. This goes away within a few days. For 4 to 6 weeks the growth hormones do their work, then you see results.
